the poodle skirts are really interesting. I went to the surf for 7 years in a row and I didn't see any poodle skirts there. From 1956 to 1963. I saw buddy Holly and his group in person. I remember the night very well. I saw all of the singers back in that era and loved every one of them. The memories are great. I have never gone back to the buddy Holly days as I like to remember the "original" days. Met a lot of nice guys there and remember them also!! :) so hello to the Buddy Holly days from the Thornton girl -- class of '62. Have a good day!
